Greetings, All,

I am pleased to report that more than 120 golfers and 25 volunteers enjoyed a day of
th
fun, fellowship, and funding at Celebration Golf Club on May 13 .
The day began with warm Krispy Kreme donuts, muffins, bananas, and hot and cold
drinks outside the clubhouse. Later, while on the course, players were treated to Chic-
fil-A sandwiches, and once the golf rounds ended, all enjoyed a tasty Italian meal at
the Clubhouse.

We had contests, a raffle, and over 80 silent auction items to bid on, including a
week's stay in Vegas! Oh, yeah, there was some golf played, too. The winning team, a
regular at our golf event, will hold the trophy for one year. Congratulations, team
Roudabush.

This Charity Golf Challenge was made possible by our incredibly generous sponsors,
major donors, registered golfers, LBV Rotarians, and Celebration Golf Club
leadership. Drum roll please, and allow me to crow a bit because this record year of
participation and contributions bottom lined the event at over $28,000.
