2018-2019 Award Recipients
Announced at the Year-end Party - Congratulations to All

The Rookie of the Year is awarded to a new 2018-19 member who in a short time has already
exemplified what it means to be a Rotarian. This new member immediately engaged with the club.
She completed 3 RLI classes, chaired Relay for Life for our club, learned the club secretary role,
and earned a Paul Harris award. Rookie of the Year: Patti Kelly

The Four Way Test Award is for the member who exemplified all aspects of the four way test.
This individual volunteered countless hours at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the club’s Charity
Golf Challenge. He managed the Club and Foundation funds and accounts, and was always
available for club service. The recipient of the Four Way Test Award: Harry Boardman

The Anne Peach Service Above Self Award is named for our truly amazing member Anne
Peach and it is given to an individual who, like Anne is dedicated to contributing to the Club without
the expectation of accolades. This member was a key contributor in finding community service
projects for our club, packaged food for Hurricane Michael victims, decorated for the holidays at
Russell Home, and led the marketing campaign for our Charity Golf Challenge. Thank you for all of

The Garth Walker Rotarian of the Year Award This member has a long list of contributions to
the club, including: volunteering for virtually all service projects, acting as an ambassador for our
club at District events, a mainstay at our fundraising events, and President of our Rotary LBV
Foundation. Garth Walker Rotarian of the Year: Jean Campana
