Ladies and Gentlemen (and Phil),

It is with the most grateful of hearts that I pen this, the last Presidential

e-magazine message of the 2017-18 Rotary year, to you. You’ve been nothing
short of a true inspiration to what it means to be a Rotary family. But then
again, that does not surprise me as I’ve known this from the moment I joined
our club many years ago.

This past year our club theme was “Be Your Best Self”. I will be the first to
admit openly and honestly that I fell slightly short of this objective. But in
great LBV Rotary fashion everyone stepped up to the plate and made this year the success that it is. You should
be very proud of yourselves collectively, but more so, individually because the intent of the theme this year was
to demonstrate how we are much better prepared and more effective to serve as a group when we are confident
and self-aware of our capabilities as individuals.

From road cleaning, to helping families visit the Disney community, to supporting local organizations that help
our community members get back on their feet, to the most successful golf tournament we’ve hosted in many
years. Every club member contributed of their time and resources to each of these successes. Join us on June
16th at our end of year party for a full recap of the awesome work you accomplished this year.

To all the Mothers reading this, I hope that you had the most special Mother’s Day this past month that you’ve

ever had. And to all the Fathers, I wish you a very Happy Father’s Day coming up.

My final thought to you is that I have zero doubt in the team taking over on July 1st led by your incoming
President, Greg Gorski. They are poised to make the 2018-19 Rotary year one of the best in our club’s 46-year
history. Get ready for a fantastic and fulfilling year.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support you provided to our club and to our many initiatives
throughout this year. Our club was successful this year because you are successful.
