RELAY FOR LIFE REPORT
Our Rotary Club’s

Biggest Annual Event

Fellow Lake Buena Vista Rotarians

A heartfelt thank you to each of you who helped in any way to make our club’s participation in this year’s
Relay for Life such a great success. The individual contributions of time, talent, prize wheel and silent
auction donations, and money were nothing short of amazing. Our event was a true success because of
the involvement of so many of you. Our initial LBV Rotary totals exceed $7,500 from the online
fundraising and the proceeds from our Relay tent (over $3,000). It was estimated that more than $100,000
was raised during the event by all the 30+ teams involved. Phenomenal! This was the best year ever!

The money raised by Relays around the USA in 2014 will contribute to cancer research, patient support,
prevention info/education, and detection and treatment. Each day, 350 people who would have been lost
to cancer are celebrating more birthdays.

Your help with this year’s Relay for Life is part of that story. Most gratefully,
