“Badass Ways to End Anxiety and Stop Panic Attacks” by Geert
Most people who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks are told by
their well-meaning friends, doctors, therapists, and psychiatrists
to “manage” their anxiety. Some are prescribed pills in an effor to
calm their anxiety down. Breathing techniques, mindfulness, and
more are advised as well. Needless to say, that isn’t a very effective
approach, and it never was.
Anxiety and panic attacks require a different strategy, a
counterintuitive one. Left uncontrolled, anxiety tends to grow more
and more because our amygdala (the anxiety center of our brain)
becomes hyperactive and sees more to worry about.
This book uncovers science based and counterintuitive techniques
that are designed to end unwanted anxiety and to stop panic attacks.
“Never Eat Alone” by Keith Ferrazzi
Do you want to get ahead in life? Climb the ladder to personal
success? Master networker Keith Ferrazzi claims the secret is in
reaching out to other people. He discovered that what distinguishes
highly successful people from everyone else is the way they use the
power of relationships, so that everyone wins.
In “Never Eat Alone”, Ferrazzi lays out the specific steps and inner
mindset he uses to reach out to connect with the thousands of
colleagues, friends, and associates on his contact list. People he has
helped and who have helped him.
This is an updated revision from the original 2005 release.
