Recipes for April
Bacon Ranch Tortellini Pasta Salad
Ingredients: 1 cucumber - cut in spears and
1 (15oz) cheese-filled sliced
tortellini pasta 1/2 red onion, rough dice
16oz grape tomatoes - 4oz sliced black olives
halved 4oz sharp cheddar cheese cubed
2 bell peppers - 1 1 cup bacon crumbles
orange, 1 yellow in bite- Ranch Dressing
size pieces
Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to directions on the package (do not add salt
to the water). Drain and set aside. Combine tortellini 1/2 of salad dressing and toss to combine.
Add remaining salad ingredients in a large bowl, toss until combined. Reserve the remaining dressing.
Refrigerate until ready to serve. When ready to serve, pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss
with salad tongs until well coated.
Awesome Hot Dog Chili Sauce
Ingredients:
1lb hamburger 1 tspn cumin
1cup water 1 tspn chili powder
1/2 tspn garlic powder 1 tblspn sugar
1/4 cup ketchup 1 dash salt
1 tspn dried onion flakes
Directions
Put all ingredients in a pan. Do not cook hamburger first. Cook all at the same time. It will make
a smoother sauce. Cook for 10 to 15 until thickened. You can add mustard and onions if you like.
Simple and effective. Also add other spices to your liking to spice up the flavor.
