                                      Washington University 1951 - MHA


                                      Military service:  US Army – Transportation Corps./ served in Army
                                      Reserves after war.

                                      Marital status:  Widower

                                      Children/ grandchildren:   3 adult children



       First job:  American Hospital Supply Corporation – clerk

       Most fun job:  All jobs were fun (especially each pay day!)

       Career background:  Career progression in hospital administration in executive roles.

       Why did you join Rotary?   My father was a Rotarian / worked at the Orange Memorial Hospital, Lake
       Buena Vista and joined the club


       Are you a Paul Harris Fellow?  Multi Paul Harris Fellow

       What other honors have you been awarded?   Received the ‘first Rotarian of the Year’ award –
       renamed ‘Garth Walker Rotarian of the Year’. Has held perfect attendance for 37 years!  Bequest
       Society member donating $10,000 in his estate plan.
       What club positions have you held in Rotary:  President and Program Chair

       Current employer/ position: Retired (totally)

       Travel interests:  Enjoyed elder hostel travel / past trip to Russia
