Welcome New Member
Patricia (Patti) Kelly
Patricia Kelly, born in Washington DC, lived in McLean Virginia
and moved to Florida when she was one. Her father was asked to
move to be on the legal team of Florida Gas and started the first
natural gas pipeline in the state of Florida. Patti is a Florida girl
for sure and has seen Central Florida change over the years. She
grew up in Maitland before there was the Maitland interchange
and attended Bishop Moore High School (before they had central
air). She has seen attractions like Circus World come and go only to be replaced with
Boardwalk and Baseball which is gone too. In high school Patti worked for Walt Disney World
not long after they opened, then spent 10 years in a family restaurant called Hostess House
and then worked 10 years at Water Mania, a water park attraction long gone and now has a
Golden Corral on the 192 property. I guess you could say hospitality is in her blood. She just
celebrated her 20th anniversary at Clear Channel Outdoor and loves her job, co-workers and
clients.
Patti and her husband Len have been married over 5 years and both feel blessed to have
found each other. Between them they have 2 daughters, Mahassan and Elizabeth, 1 son
Austin, 1 son-in-law Andrew and a 1 year old grandson, Lukas who has taken the starring role
in their family. Their favorite place to vacation is the beach, but not just any beach – Anna
Maria Island is where they were married and have been going for years.
While at Clear Channel Outdoor Patti has had the pleasure of working with many different
clients large and small. While Patti enjoys the sales part of her job (as she knows all the best
places to take clients to lunch), she also enjoys working with charitable organizations such
as Ronald McDonald House Charities, Junior Achievement and A Gift for Teaching. Helping
children is what she enjoys most because her daughter teaches and the stories she shares
are the motivation to take action and help.
Patti considers being part of the LBV Rotary club an honor and another way to work alongside
a group of people that have the same goals in mind. She is looking forward to helping and
learning more about Rotary as time goes on.
Welcome to our family, Patti.
