                                Story of a Rotarian Transformation

                      Making a Difference
One of the other benefits of attending RLI is getting to meet others in your district – and if you want to make a
weekend of it (which I did), I attended RLI in another district and expanded my Rotarian friendships across the state
of Florida. RLI is not just for new Rotarians either – there were those who had only been in Rotary for six weeks
(myself, when I attended RLI I), and Rotarians that had been members for 25+ years! As Donald Rumsfeld once said
“there are known knowns: there are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns; that is to say,
there are things that we now know we don’t know. But…there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we
do not know we don’t know.” Knowledge is power!

As our club has almost doubled in size since I joined, I know we have a lot of new members that have questions
about Rotary, about how they fit in…not only in our club, but our District, and more so Rotary International.
Attending Rotary Leadership Institute will give you the answers and help you with your own personal
transformation to being a better Rotarian.

For more information and to register for classes, please check out their website at www.rlitraining.org; we are part
