Joined Rotary: 1987 - ‘First’ lady admitted into our Rotary club of
Lake Buena Vista (two male members left – boy did they miss
something!!!)
Education: Graduated Orlando Senior High School - followed some
college courses – achieved educational certifications and training
programs throughout hospital career.
Marital status: Widow
Children/ grandchildren: 5 nieces and 1 nephew
First job: Buddies Corner store (while in high school) – Orange
Memorial Hospital clerical purchasing (started with 250 patent beds and
grew to 1,000 beds).
Most fun job: Every day working!
Career background: Career progression in material services rising to VP, Material Services.

Healthcare Supply Chain Management. Garth was Sara’s boss for 25 years!!!
