Career background: After getting all of my teenage jobs out of the way, I worked in the MIS
department at Miami-Dade County Public Schools and moved up to Records Administrator.
Did some consulting with Reedy Creek which led to them offering me a position as the Public
Records Administrator. Eventually made my way back to Information Technology which is
what stimulates my mind.
Why did you join Rotary? I had been searching for a way to volunteer my time to the
community. A Rotarian from another District mentioned to me that they thought I would be a
good Rotarian. I had no idea what they meant or what Rotary was. I did some research and
when I found out my boss was a Rotarian, I thought what a great way to volunteer with purpose
and kiss up to my boss. The kissing up never worked, but being a Rotarian is truly satisfying.
Are you a Paul Harris Fellow? Yes, X2
What other Rotary honors have you been awarded? I think I received Perfect Attendance
one year, and I’m sure there are others, but none come to mind right now.

President Elect, President

Travel interests: Love to travel but don’t get the chance to do it much. Enjoy camping, hiking,
mountains, fishing and exploring all across the United States. Anywhere worth taking a
camera is where I want to go.
Something we don’t know about you! Played baseball for many years growing up and I’d
like to retire as a part-time traveler / photographer.
