Community Economic Development helps people build sustainable livelihoods and communities create stronger, more inclusive economies. Rotary supports vocational training, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, agricultural development, employment opportunities, and access to resources that enable individuals and families to move toward lasting economic independence.

Through our involvement in a variety of economic development initiatives, we connect people with knowledge, professional guidance, community partners, and opportunities that can turn initiative into progress. Through Rotary’s global network, similar efforts help entrepreneurs, workers, and communities develop solutions suited to their own circumstances. The objective is not temporary relief alone, but the confidence, capability, and local momentum needed for people to build prosperity on their own terms.

Our Rotary Club of Lake Buena Vista is blessed with having a great number of community leaders as members. Through their social capital and access within their networks, we continue to leverage these efforts to create value for our charity initiatives. It is not an easy task, but we get it done with a smile and noble demeanor.
