Education is the basis for all human achievement and growth

Protecting the Environment recognizes that healthy communities depend on healthy natural systems. Rotary supports conservation, sustainable resource management, environmental education, ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and projects that protect land, water, and biodiversity while improving the well-being of the people who rely upon them.

Our club can make this commitment visible through cleanups, conservation partnerships, responsible practices, and educational efforts that encourage thoughtful stewardship. Globally, our support contributes to Rotary projects shaped by the environmental realities of each community. The work may begin with a shoreline, park, watershed, or neighborhood, but its significance extends further: we are caring for resources entrusted to us, not owned by us alone.

Serving our community as partners in sustainability accomplishes the goals of the 7th Area of Focus. We approach this opportunity from a pragmatic, non-political agenda to contribute to the well-being of our Central Florida community. Rotarians have an opportunity to make this world a better place, and we intend to live up to this expectation.
