Foundation Beneficiaries

Rotary Club of Lake Buena Vista Foundation (RCLBVF) beneficiaries have earned the respect and support of our members

Our club foundation is governed by a board of directors in accordance with its bylaws and presided over each year by an elected president—separate from the Rotary Club President. Together, the board handles the creation of the annual budget, oversight of foundation finances, and disbursement of charitable funds.

The foundation’s fiscal year coincides with the Rotary year, beginning on July 1st and ending June 30th of the following year. Major charitable disbursements are usually set in July, after the foundation’s Charity Golf Challenge, usually held annually in May. Additional sources for RCLBVF funds include earnings from members working at polling places during election years and from work with the Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips operating a concession stand during the annual Arnold Palmer Invitational golf event. Typically, all RCLBVF funds are dispersed as charitable contributions, except for a reserve of approximately 10 percent.
