Great Turnout in September, Great Opportuni2es in the Future
Our September First Tuesday Social was a great 7me, and we had over 30 a>endees. CJ Jung
and her team at Descend 21 put on an excep7onal event with excellent complimentary
appe7zers, and the service was superb. There was even a golf simulator!

Remember, we are broadening our fellowship opportuni7es to include MORE culinary,
beverage, and ou7ng opportuni7es. Your ideas will help us come up with great new events!

First Tuesday Socials
We’ve had some great First Tuesday socials the last several months, ranging from the elegant Normans to the Buffalo Bar
Ki1y O’Shea’s. The next three months are going to be no excep7on to the greatness rule—let’s start with September:

October First Tuesday Social: Backyard Lounge at Melia Celebra;on on 10/3
Our fellow member and General Manager of Melia Celebra7on, Alma De Villa, has invited
us to another amazing First Tuesday Social at her hotel. Here are the details:

Date/&me: Tuesday, 10/3 6pm-??? (don’t worry if you get there early, “The Hat” almost
always is there to welcome you!)
Loca&on: Backyard Lounge at the Melia Celebra7on

Alma promises some complimentary appe7zer bites, and there will be a DJ from 5pm to 8pm with a chill out vibe for us
to enjoy! Tuesday is “Local’s night,” so we’ll enjoy 25% off on the regular menu and bar items.

Wine-ing with Keith
Our “Winer-in-Chief,” Keith Wolling, wants to make sure that our first Wining with Keith® Stay
tas7ng event is a success. As such, we’re postponing the previously scheduled Wine Event at Tuned
Tim’s Wine Market in Windermere from January to early 2024 to allow the team to plan and
7me for promo7on. More info is forthcoming.

Dining with Dave/(Food) Hiking with Amy

Dave Tran has agreed to take the ini7a7ve, offering opportuni7es for our members to get more in-depth “foodie”
ac7vi7es. And now Amy Franks has come forward with an outstanding event, a food hike himng many of the tasty
restaurants in Icon Park. We an7cipate these events will be scheduled in the first quarter of 2024. Look for more
informa7on in the next couple of months about these upcoming events.
